That sky.
Long sweeping brushstrokes race diagonally across the upper half of the canvas - pale blue, white and the softest lavender, like the sky just before a sea breeze picks up. Below it, the water stretches wide and still, moving through aqua and teal to deep blue, with a distant green headland sitting quietly on the horizon.
The shoreline curves in from the left, sandy and unhurried, with small dark pools of rock that remind you this is somewhere real, a bay you feel like you've been to, or always wanted to find.
