Hello
Hi, I’m Jo, an artist based in High Wycombe, Perth, Western Australia, inspired by the ever-changing colours, textures, and energy of the coastline.
My work is defined by refinement, balance, and timeless design, art that captures the essence of the ocean while integrating seamlessly into thoughtfully styled interiors. Each piece is created with consideration, intended to elevate a space and provide a sense of connection and completeness.
I take great care in helping clients select artwork that complements their home, whether it is a striking statement piece or a more understated work, ensuring each piece feels intentional and perfectly placed.
Thank you for visiting my website. I invite you to explore the collection, or consider joining me for a workshop. If you are in Perth, you are welcome to arrange a private viewing at my studio and gallery.

My Story
Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember - I think in some shape or form, I have always been an artist, right from that very first painting in pre primary of a blue man with a big round head and bright yellow sun in the corner (I still have that painting today!).
After school I studied a certificate of Art & Design through the WA School of Art & Design and then at the print training unit of TAFE where I focused on graphic design.
I worked as a designer for many years with different printing companies and then ran my own design business.
When my children grew, I needed to do something different and just for myself and thats when I discovered my love of painting again. I created pieces for my mum and dads home and other family members so that I could paint for fun. During Covid, I realised that people loved the idea of having a beautiful painting of a beach on their walls as they could not travel to such destinations, so having that type of art in their homes was the next best thing. So thats where I decided to keep my focus - coastal art - and I love it!

I’m fortunate to live on a beautiful property in the Perth foothills, where my studio and gallery allow me to work surrounded by birds and the natural rhythm of the landscape. Being here has helped me understand the purpose behind my art: to create pieces that bring character, balance, and a sense of calm to a home.
I believe the right artwork can transform a space, whether as a striking focal point or a subtle accent, it can make a room feel complete and thoughtfully considered. My work captures the beauty and movement of the coast while creating a gentle sense of calm that enhances the way a space feels and is experienced.
As well as painting, I have a passion for teaching others about the joy of creativity. In October of 2025, I started my own workshops based on two important words of 'I Can'. This little saying is crucial in being able to allow yourself to give new things a try. I have met so many fabulous women who said 'Yes' to themselves and they have created some amazing pieces along the way. Find out more information on my Workshops page.
The best thing about being an artist is knowing that my work is hanging in peoples homes where they get to love and admire it every day. I will forever be grateful that I get to work on my passion as my career and share it with others.
