Two great sweeping forms curve in from opposite corners of the canvas,  one from above, one from below, meeting in the middle in a collision of cerulean, teal and deep midnight blue. Between them, the ocean rushes through in layered bands of movement, white water catching the light. At the top, a soft arc of sand and cream holds it all together like a rising moon over the water.
 
The composition does something unusual - it pulls your eye in and holds it there. It's the kind of painting that changes depending on where you stand and what the light is doing.
